FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME)

Position Summary We are hiring immediately for a full‑time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER with Hertz Global in Estero, FL. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday day shift, no weekends or nights, with a fixed pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities Perform cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintain sanitation standards in preparation, service and dining areas. Prep work: wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment and utensils. Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolve complaints in a service‑oriented way. Handle sales transactions: enter sales into the cash register, make change, accept various payment methods, issue receipts, and follow procedures for cash refunds. Manage change funds and cash receipts to meet overage/shortage standards. Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while keeping the service area clean. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Preferred: Previous deli or fast food service worker experience. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
