Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our highly respected neonatology team. This position involves providing advanced neonatal care in a collaborative Level III NICU environment. The role includes participating in an in-house NNP model delivering 24/7 coverage. You will manage an average daily NICU census of approximately 19 patients. The NNP will support approximately 2,700 annual deliveries. Daily neonatal rounding and patient management are key responsibilities. You will deliver acute NICU care for critically ill neonates. Attendance at high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitations is required. You will perform neonatal procedures based on clinical competency and experience. Collaboration with neonatologists and multidisciplinary NICU staff is essential. Strong clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making are crucial. You will work alongside a dedicated neonatal transport team. Utilizing full pediatric and neonatal subspecialty support services is expected. Contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented practice environment is encouraged. Participation in educational opportunities may be available. The NNP will deliver evidence-based neonatal care focused on quality, safety, and patient outcomes. This position requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. Candidates must have a clean malpractice/license history, which is highly preferred. DEA must be obtained prior to start.
