Medical Assistant - Float Pool

Medical Assistant / CardiologyHourly pay rate only $22.75. The office sees about 20-35 patients per day. Years of experience are not specified. First-timers are accepted. On call is not required. There is no weekend requirement indicated. BLS is required. Temporary staff will travel to various locations throughout Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Carroll County based on need. The system will auto approve 14 days or less of RTO. Every other winter and summer holiday are required and no RTO is approved. No RTO on hard-to-fill days like Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. This is an outpatient Noninvasive Cardiology/EKG clinic at LBH – MG Greenspring in Baltimore, Maryland. The clinic has 8 rooms and serves adult patients. The position is scheduled for 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cardiology experience is preferred. Experience obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECGs, vital signs and height/weight is required. Experience obtaining and documenting patient history, medications and allergies is required. Rooming patients and completing follow-up phone calls is required. Insurance verification, pharmacy/patient refill calls, appointment scheduling, stocking supplies and telephone triage experience are preferred. Cerner is required.
