Join Our Team We are currently seeking an experienced, professional Lead Infant Teacher for our New York City early daycares.As lead teacher you will: Be responsible for the care, supervision, and management of a group of young children and infants. Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and may also lead a team of assistant teachers and aides. Lead teachers are responsible for many tasks, including: Planning and implementing activitiesLead teachers develop daily lesson plans and classroom routines, and plan activities that are engaging and educational. They may use a variety of teaching methods, such as stories, media, games, and drawing. Providing careLead teachers ensure that children's basic needs are met, and may also provide caregiving activities. Managing behaviorLead teachers establish and enforce rules of behavior, and may also provide after-school tutoring. Communicating with parentsLead teachers track children's progress and communicate with parents and guardians about their child's behavior. Mentoring other teachersLead teachers may provide guidance and mentorship to other teachers in their grade level or subject.
