Job Description
We are a small group home that works with at risk youth with complex trauma due to abuse and neglect. We are a state licensed and accredited facility part of The Ohio Teaching Family Association. We are a boys only home with ten beds. We work daily to teach coping skills to help the youth process their trauma. We work closely with county agencies, mental health professionals, and our local school district to ensure the youth receive all available resources and supports. Daily tasks include working with the kids teaching pro social skills, coping skills, peer relations, daily chores, taking youth to appointments, school activities, and independent living skills. We take in kids with behavioral and mental health issues that can be challenging.
Job requirements are high school diploma or equivalent and drivers license. Hours needed are 2-10pm, weekends and holidays. As a small business, we do not offer medical benefits but do offer a small reimbursement for private insurance to help cover monthly premiums. Must be 21 or older.
