Provide advanced dental and oral surgical care for a diverse referral caseload. Develop clinical protocols, workflows, and referral relationships to support the growth of the service. Collaborate closely with Surgery & Orthopedics, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Dermatology, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Emergency & Critical Care, and other specialty teams. Utilize advanced diagnostic and imaging capabilities including CT, MRI, digital radiography, and C-arm fluoroscopy. Work collaboratively with surgeons experienced in advanced procedures including PDA ligation and pacemaker placement. Develop strong relationships with referring veterinarians and help expand access to advanced dentistry and oral surgery in the San Antonio community. Contribute to the continued growth and development of MissionVet’s specialty services. Participate in mentorship, case collaboration, and continuing education. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients while providing exceptional patient care. Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning. What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure. Board Certification in Dentistry & Oral Surgery or Residency Trained in Dentistry & Oral Surgery. Strong clinical and surgical skills with a passion for advanced dentistry and oral surgery. An entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for developing and growing a specialty service. Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach. A collaborative mindset and commitment to building strong relationships with referring veterinarians.
