Auditor

Auditor Albany, NY (Hybrid)

The Auditor is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and maintaining provider enrollment information to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position reviews applications and supporting documentation, validates information using multiple verification systems, updates provider records, communicates with providers regarding application requirements, and maintains accurate documentation while meeting established production and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Review provider enrollment, revalidation, and maintenance applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements.
• Verify application information using web-based federal, state, and licensing verification systems.
• Ensure submitted documentation is current, complete, and valid.
• Communicate professionally with providers by phone, email, or electronic communication systems to obtain missing information or clarification.
• Enter, update, and maintain provider information in designated systems.
• Review sensitive and confidential information while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain electronic and physical records in accordance with established procedures.
• Upload, organize, and file required documentation.
• Meet established productivity and quality performance standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members while managing assigned workload and priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience reviewing, verifying, or validating detailed or sensitive information using web-based verification systems preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet navigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze detailed information with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Experience

• Previous experience reviewing, verifying, or validating detailed information using web-based verification sources preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
