You’ll get to know your patients personally and have a full view of the environment and obstacles they are navigating.Our mission: Improving people's lives throughout Helena, Great Falls, Butte, and surrounding areas, by offering skilled and personal home care in the home or place of residence, enabling Montanans to age in place with independence, dignity and respect.Interim HealthCare of Central Montana is locally owned and operated by a veteran with 30+ years of experience in healthcare.Our Home Health Physical Therapists enjoy some excellent benefits:$40 per hourUniform/scrubs allowance1:1 therapist-to-patient ratios where you impact outcomesFlexible assignments, autonomy and work-life balanceOnline training, growth and ability to earn CEUsDental, Vision & 401(k) BenefitsAs a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:Provide home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength and functionality due to an illness or injuryWork as part of a home health team which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT and SLP, focused on the patient’s plan of care and goalsParticipates in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient.Acts at the direction and under the supervision of the treating physical therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.Assists the treating physical therapist in documenting a patient’s progress and response to treatment.Counsels and educates the patient and the family, and other caregivers to promote patient progress toward mutually established goals and in meeting healthcare related needs.A few must-haves for Home Health Physical Therapy Assistants:Current licensure, registration, or certification as a physical therapist assistant, if applicable, in the state(s) in which he or she will practice.In the last five (5) years, two (2) years of experience as a PTA that is relevant to the patient population assigned preferred.CPR certificationHep B and TB immunizationsKnowledge of state and federal home health regulationsGood clinical judgement, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity and compassionWhy Work for Interim HealthCare?Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation’s first home care company and a leading employer of Home Health Physical Therapists (PTs).
