Research Data Specialist

Position Overview As the Research Data Specialist , you will be responsible for collecting, transcribing, and transmitting clinical data for multiple investigational drug studies. This role provides accurate, clean data in a timely manner for pharmaceutical sponsors to determine the next dose level. The Research Data Specialist acts as the main point of contact between the CRO and site level, scheduling and facilitating visits with Clinical Research Associates for each assigned trial. Hybrid Work Schedule This position is hybrid: three days on-site at the Kenmoor location and two days from home, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with flexibility. Desired/Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in life sciences or equivalent; associate degree considered with applicable experience. Specific Skills & Abilities Working knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology. Data collection experience. Research knowledge. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Receive and request data from patient records; complete paper and electronic case report forms (CRFs). Review patient data for completeness and accuracy. Identify and enter adverse events in CRFs. Perform data entry and transmit data to sponsors as required. Coordinate and schedule monitor visits, considering availability of research coordinators, pharmacy, and investigators. Meet with sponsors/monitors, along with research coordinators, to review data entry and provide support as directed by supervisor(s). Retrieve missing data promptly to ensure completeness of CRFs. Ensure data entry remains current for all studies per SOP and notify study team of deadlines. Review and utilize protocols as guides for study activities. Maintain a study tracking file and communicate with accounts receivable staff regarding submitted data. Attend meetings and briefings regarding clinical studies as required. Assist in the success of the research department by performing other tasks as assigned.
