Make a meaningful impact every day. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live independently, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.

 

What You'll Do

• Empower independence: Support individuals in reaching their personal and developmental goals, including budgeting, meal planning, healthy living, communication, and community engagement.
• Build meaningful relationships: Serve as a trusted mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement while creating genuine connections with the people you support.
• Promote community inclusion: Help individuals participate in community events, social activities, volunteer opportunities, and hobbies that bring them joy and fulfillment.
• Support daily living skills: Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, transportation, personal care, and other activities that help individuals thrive.
• Provide compassionate care: Demonstrate patience, understanding, and respect while supporting individuals with varying abilities, behavioral needs, and unique challenges.
• Be a difference-maker: Take initiative, solve problems, and contribute to a positive environment where every individual is valued, respected, and supported.

Qualifications 

• Must be at least 18 years old
  
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent 
  
• Must have access to a registered vehicle with you during all shifts to transport individuals
  
• Must be able to provide proof of insurance 
  
• Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of one year without restrictions (learner’s permit holders are not eligible).
  
• Successful completion of background checks is required.
