Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care to patients in the NICU, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures.
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate respiratory records, including use of Epic charting system.
• Perform advanced airway management techniques such as intubation, extubation, and suctioning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate effective patient respiratory treatment plans.
• Administer medications and therapies safely, including aerosol and oxygen therapy.
• Participate in neonatal and pediatric transport as required, ensuring patient safety and care continuity.

Qualifications

• Valid RRT and state licensure with ACLS, BLS certification; NRP preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, with NICU experience required.
• Proficient in ventilator management and pulmonary function assessment.
• Experience with critical care settings, including emergency department and adult critical care.
• Familiarity with Epic healthcare software and medical documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
