About the Role:

ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing essential in-home care and support. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their home environment
• Help with mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed
• Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors promptly

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a PCA, HHA, CNA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred
• Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
• Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
