Respiratory Care Practitioner - Central Core

Position Title Respiratory Care Practitioner – Respiratory Therapy at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA. Position Overview The Department‑based Respiratory Therapist demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles and collaborates with physicians and nurses to plan and implement patient care plans. The role includes collaboration with the department orientation program and, as required, unit‑specific orientation. Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, and performing respiratory care procedures, patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and oxygen therapy. Other patient care functions may also be performed as qualified. Required Qualifications Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement. Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. Benefits Retirement 401(k) savings plan with employer matching.
