Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an outpatient specialty clinic requiring 1+ years of MRI experience and ARRT-MR certification.

Details

• Outpatient specialty clinic setting
• MRI department performing abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Schedule includes Monday-Thursday 7:30a-5p, Friday 7:30a-8p, and Saturday-Sunday 8:45a-5:15p
• Will work weekends per department needs
• No on-call requirement
• No floating within scope required
• Uses Siemens Altea 1.5T MRI equipment
• Epic (Excellian) EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI required
• ARMRIT, ARRT-MR, and BLS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Skilled in imaging abdomen, pelvis, brain, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal regions
• Experience with MRA and MRCP procedures preferred
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts
• Adult acute care and outpatient population experience

• Local candidates accepted for this radiology position
• RTO ideally no more than 5 days during the assignment
• Returning staff must have been gone at least 3 months since their last shift worked as a perm employee
