Production Supervisor, 1st Shift

Shift 1st Shift 6:00am - 2:00pm (Hours will vary with overtime) What Will You Do? Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates. Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching. Receive complaints and resolve problems. Maintain timekeeping and personnel records. Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice‑versa. Prepare and submit performance reports. Decide on reward and promotion based on performance. Hire and train new employees. Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if needed. Operate equipment and/or forklifts as necessary. Directly supervise assigned employees within the department(s). Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. What Do You Need? High‑school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer skills required; familiarity with manufacturing software, payroll systems, and inventory software. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. What Can We Give You? Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
