Surgical Physician Assistant

Job Opportunity40hrs/wk. Excellent opportunity for experienced PA to work in a hospital-based surgical practice. Function under the supervision of supervising attending surgeon on each of the following services listed below. Staff PAs comprise the surgical house-staff and as part of the attending MD/PA team, PAs are involved in the total care of the surgical patient from admission to discharge.First Assistant in a variety of specialties: Bariatric, General, Head & Neck, OBGYN, Orthopedic, Vascular, Plastics, Neurosurgery, and Thoracic.DaVinci Robot experience a plus but not necessary as we will train.Morning rounds.Pre-op and Post-op surgical patients.History and Physicals on routine and emergent admissions.Perform surgical consultations.Includes On-Call Responsibility.
