What You'll Do:
As a Locum Radiologist, you'll be the primary expert in interpreting a high volume of emergency and inpatient imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. Your expertise will help facilitate swift diagnoses, especially in stroke cases and emergent scenarios, ensuring exceptional patient care. Work predominantly in a remote setting, managing a busy case mix with minimal on-site requirements, and collaborate with a dedicated team committed to your success.


Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a high-volume diagnostic radiologist
• Proficiency in ER and inpatient imaging interpretation
• Comfort with Stroke imaging protocols
• Strong understanding of XR, CT, MR, US, and NM modalities
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
• Certification and licensure registered to practice radiology in West Virginia or eligible to obtain

Nice to Have Skills:

• Subspecialty expertise in Musculoskeletal, Neuro, or Nuclear Medicine
• Prior experience working in hospital or emergency settings
• Familiarity with stroke protocols and emergent imaging interpretation
• Ability to adapt to dynamic workload demands

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• At least 2 years of post-training experience in a high-volume radiology setting

Other Requirements:

• Active medical license in West Virginia or ability to obtain
• Must be comfortable with remote work environments and technology
• Availability to start on or around April 28, 2026
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
• Travel or licensure reimbursements provided when applicable
