Job Description
As a Security Officer - Data Center in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, and innovative team that values reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, verifying credentials and following site access protocols for employees, contractors, and/or guests.
- Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues that could impact the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
