We are looking for a Benefits Specialist to support benefits and leave administration for a Contract position based in West Bend, Wisconsin. This role works closely with employees, HR partners, and external vendors to help ensure benefit programs and leave processes run smoothly. The position is well suited for someone who can balance employee support, detailed administrative work, and accurate record management in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Manage leave and accommodation cases by coordinating with the third-party administrator, internal HR contacts, and employees to support timely and accurate processing.
• Prepare for and support open enrollment by learning plan details, responding to employee questions, and helping communicate benefit options and key deadlines.
• Review and reconcile recurring benefit invoices, resolve discrepancies, and process monthly benefit-related account activity.
• Assist with employee benefit updates related to qualifying life events, deductions, and garnishment administration as needed.
• Monitor benefit data feeds between Paylocity and external vendors, investigate integration issues, and complete audits to confirm data accuracy.
• Lead benefits orientation for new hires by explaining available programs, enrollment steps, and important deadlines.
• Maintain organized records and provide day-to-day administrative support for benefits and leave programs.
• Partner with the Total Rewards team to address employee concerns and improve the overall benefits support experience.• At least 1 year of experience in benefits, leave administration, or a related human resources support role.
• Working knowledge of benefit program administration, including open enrollment and employee life event changes.
• Experience supporting leave processes such as FMLA, disability, parental leave, or workplace accommodations.
• Ability to reconcile billing, review account details, and identify inconsistencies in benefit records.
• Familiarity with HRIS or payroll platforms, including Paylocity or similar systems used for benefit data management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain benefit information clearly to employees and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work setting.
