Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in NICU for an 8-week contract focusing on Epic system conversion. The ideal candidate will have recent NICU experience, proficient Epic and Cerner skills, and valid California licensure.

Responsibilities:

• Perform NICU nursing duties with a focus on system transition and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT and clinical teams during the Epic conversion process.
• Ensure compliance with all NICU protocols and safety standards.
• Document patient care and system-related activities accurately within Epic and Cerner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NICU best practices and electronic health record requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California nursing license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience within the past 3 months.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic and Cerner electronic health record systems, with at least 6 months of recent Epic experience.
• Be BLS and Advanced NRP certified.
• Have strong clinical skills and experience working in a high-acuity NICU environment.
