Find Your Calling At Mercy!Position Details:Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd)Shift: Part Time, PRN (as needed) NO CALL REQUIREMENTThis position will be responsible for caring for the endoscopy patient under the direction of a Registered Nurse during pre-op, procedure, and recovery phases. Additional responsibilities will include performing (and assisting physicians during) endoscopy procedures and high-level disinfection practices in Scope Room; anticipating physician needs; and assisting with endoscopy devices and endoscopes before, during, and after procedures.This position will have the opportunity to rotate between our inpatient endoscopy department (Outpatient Diagnostics) and Mercy's new outpatient digestive health institute (Kathryn Ann Meinders)!Overview:Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
