Monica Kaplan State Farm is seeking a driven, competitive, and sales-focused professional to join our team as an Insurance Sales Representative / Acquisitions Specialist.

This is a sales-dominant position for someone who enjoys generating new business, building a pipeline, overcoming objections, and confidently asking for the sale. You’ll help prospective customers understand their insurance needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and turn opportunities into long-term customer relationships.

Licensing Requirements

Insurance licensing is required for this position.

• All required Property & Casualty and Life & Health licensing must be successfully obtained prior to your Day 1 start date.

• Already licensed candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Candidates who are not currently licensed may still be considered if they are willing and able to complete licensing before starting.

• Licensing guidance and support are available throughout the process.

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through leads, referrals, outbound prospecting, networking, and community outreach.

• Conduct needs-based sales conversations to uncover customer needs.

• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.

• Build and actively manage a consistent pipeline of prospective customers.

• Follow up persistently with leads and prospects to convert opportunities into sales.

• Confidently present recommendations, overcome objections, and ask for the business.

• Identify cross-sell opportunities to provide customers with more complete protection.

• Develop referrals through strong customer relationships.

• Maintain accurate documentation of sales activity and customer interactions.

• Consistently work toward individual and agency production goals.

• Current Property & Casualty and Life & Health licensing is a plus.
