This position will report to the Director of Nursing and the Associate Vice President of In-Home Programs. The Per Diem Nurse will be primarily responsible for helping meet the training needs of the license home care agency; supervise, guide, teach and evaluate HHA's; assist in evaluating medical screenings/clearances for staff; cover HHA incidents; and advise on OSHA and other medical issues within the Department.Schedule: 9am-5pm...21 hours per week.....Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.Pay Rate: $50-$55 per hourResponsibilities:Conduct Home Care Assessments for new cases and reassessments for ongoing casesDevelopment of plans-of-care, coordinate with physicians for approvalsSupervision of HHA and PCA staff in the fieldPre-service training for HHA'sIn-service training for HHA'sParticipate in Quality Improvement meetings/Board MeetingsMonitor Health assessments and medicals of HHA's (including drug screens, Doctors notes, Hep.
