General Ledger Senior AccountantA General Ledger Senior accountant is responsible for various Balance Sheet Account reconciliations. Duties also include the preparation of monthly journal entries for banking and various other accounts. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).Responsibilities:Reconciling bank statements to General LedgerPrepare and upload journal entriesDistributing monthly financial detail reports to department headsRecording all wire transfersReconcile balance sheet accountsHandling all daily banking activityPerforming other duties and responsibilities as requestedQualifications:Bachelor's or related degree preferredPrevious GL Accounting experienceExcellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization, and prioritization skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulateAbility to work efficiently, independently, and cohesively, consistently producing quality resultsComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications requiredThe minimum age requirement is 18Ability to read and understand all policies and proceduresMust be able to communicate effectively with employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilitiesMust be able to complete standard forms and reportsMust possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities
