Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position in Hood River, Oregon. This role requires candidates to provide specialized respiratory care to patients within a critical access and Level III trauma center facility. The position involves working night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates must bring their Oregon license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Oregon license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential, 1 year of experience, and ability to work a minimum of 36 hours weekly.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, community hospital experience.
• Float: Yes, candidates may float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
• Additional Information: The role involves a broad scope of respiratory procedures including aerosol setups, intubation assistance, high flow oxygen delivery, ventilation management, airway management, and delivery attendance. Candidates should be flexible to work during major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
• Submission Requirements: Applicants must indicate if they have prior experience working at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required.
