Here at Comfort Keepers self-care is important!Essential Duties:Assist male and female clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing/showering/sponge baths, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance/ incontinenceAdminister medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionalsAssist with mobility and transfers, including Hoyer Lift and EasyStandProvide companionship and emotional support to clientsAssist with meal preparation and feedingPerform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spacesDrive clients to appointments or social outingsImplement behavior management techniques as neededUtilize your smart phone to send texts and emails and to download and use apps to view care plans and record tasks and to send texts and emailsBenefits:Advance Pay!$18.00-$21.00/ hourWeekend Pay DifferentialPTO (Full-time & Part-time)401 KFlexible ScheduleMileage Reimbursement when driving a clientAflac (Full-time & Part-time)24/7 Support from the Company and Office TeamQualifications:At least 18 years oldMedication administration experienceAt least 2 years' experience as a Caregiver/ CNA for adults in in-home care, long-term care, assisted living, dementia care, nursing homes and/or hospice performing the full-range of personal caregiving skills including bathing/showering/sponge baths, gait belt and Hoyer Lift transfers, toileting assistance, dressing/grooming, bedbound care, and dementia careValid Driver's License and active Auto InsuranceAble to pass a background checkWilling to drive personal vehicle for client transportationWilling to do personal cares for males and femalesCapable of lifting up to 25 poundsAbility to read, comprehend and clearly speak EnglishPossess and use a smartphone, which includes sending texts and emails, downloading and using Apps, and completing online trainingAble to function in a home setting with minimal direct supervisionHigh moral standards of honesty and integrityAbility to pass background checks, motor vehicle record check, reference checks, and TB screeningEngage clients in activities of interestFollow care plans and accurately document tasksIf nearby shifts aren't available, be willing to drive up to 25 miles to a shiftPreferred Qualifications:Caregiving experience with Hospice clientsKnowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with client rights and home care practicesJoin our team and make a difference in people's lives!We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
