Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. The 295-bed hospital with over 800 physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment. Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services including robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci Surgical System, a weightloss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women's and children's services. Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.

The Director, Nursing assumes 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of units and other departments supervised. This Director, Nursing supervises, evaluates, and holds accountable the ongoing performance of the nursing staff based on the facility's operational pillars. Maintains structures and processes that ensure patient centered care and supports the development of staff through mentoring and stewardship. Supports work redesign and quality improvement using evidence-based practice to achieve clinical excellence. The Director, Nursing has fiscal responsibility for the departments' operating budgets and administrative functions. Works collaboratively with other leaders and Directors to lead initiatives with positive outcomes. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

This opportunity is a full time Director of Nursing position over our Medical Surgical/Oncology/Telemetry units. Minimum of three (3) years of practice area experience, required. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience, required.
