Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Tell us about the unit(s):/n• Number of Beds - Cath lab 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath / suites/n• Number of Staff - 9/n• Type of staff:/no Day Shift - day shift 6:45 to 5:15 CVL/no 0700-1700 pre-post - variable/n• Patient Ratios - 3 staff to 1 patient. Cath Lab procedural area/n• Type of equipment - GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab/n• EMR - Meditech/n/nTypical hiring profile/n/nSkill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)/nMust have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role./n/n• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience/n• BLS, ACLS & PALS/n/nPreferred or nice to have candidates with these skills will be considered first./n/n• Holding experience/n• Monitoring experience/n/nList typical procedures performed on unit(s):/n/n• LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention/n• Pacers, ICDs, Cardioversions, TEEs Tilt Table Tests, Dobutamine stress test./n/nBest personality Fit:/n/n• Positive, flexible/n• Engaged in high quality patient care experience/n/nUnit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines./n/n• Must take on-call responsibilities with rest of team./n• Must be housed within 30 min of the Cath Lab.
