Operate a sit-down forklift in a metal fabrication shop, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials. The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift in a metal fabrication shop.
• Consistently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ensure safe and efficient handling of materials.
• Utilize overhead cranes as necessary for material handling.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift.
• Experience in material handling and general labor in a construction or fabrication environment.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with overhead cranes is advantageous.
• Experience in construction or related fields is beneficial.

The work environment is a metal fabrication shop with a structured schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Casual work attire is appropriate within safety guidelines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
