Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active state RN or compact license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC, ASLS preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 4-5 - EPIC charting experience required Description: The position is for an ER Registered Nurse. The facility provides emergency services with a focus on various patient diagnoses. Daily census is approximately 96 patients, with multiple diagnoses ranging from respiratory distress to trauma. Nurses will be responsible for managing complex cases and performing procedures that may include blood product administration and ventilated patient care. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various medical professionals. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. The unit experiences a patient ratio of 4-5. Candidates must complete lab work and an EKG/Dysrhythmia exam prior to starting. References are not required for application. The application process includes a review of all submissions.
