About the Position
Our client is seeking a reliable CDL A Driver for a local light-touch delivery assignment in the Carlsbad area. This role offers consistent Monday through Friday work, competitive pay, and the potential for permanent placement.
Pay & Schedule
- $27.00 per hour
- Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,400
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Start times vary between 4:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., depending on the assigned route
- 40 hours per week
- Temporary assignment scheduled through November 27, 2026, with potential for permanent placement
- Local work in Carlsbad, California
Job Details
- Route type: Local routes with varying daily stops

- Handling: Safely lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned local routes.
- Complete deliveries to vendors while managing varying routes and daily stops.
- Handle light-touch freight safely and efficiently.
- Frequently enter and exit the cab and rear cargo area.
- Complete vehicle inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and transportation regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Current non-excepted interstate DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
