Senior Software Engineer (Python): Building and optimizing backend systems for large-scale data processing and intelligent, data-driven products with an accent on reliable, scalable services enabling Data Science and Machine Learning solutions. Focus on designing cloud-native microservices, event-driven architectures, and optimizing data pipelines for production environments. What you will do Design and implement backend APIs and services for data processing and ML-driven systems Develop cloud-native microservices using modern DevOps and CI/CD practices Build and operate event-driven and streaming architectures for data-intensive workloads Optimize data pipelines, model-serving, and inference systems, including GPU-based workloads Ensure high standards for reliability, scalability, observability, and cost efficiency Participate in the full service lifecycle: architecture, development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement Requirements Location: Hybrid work with 2-3 days per week in the office in Gdańsk, Poland English: Minimum B2 level required 4+ years of experience developing and running production backend systems Strong Python skills and experience building API-based services Knowledge of message queues or streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud platforms (ideally AWS) Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, logging, and observability Nice to have Interest or exposure to Machine Learning, Generative AI, or agent-based systems Background in high-volume or data-heavy backend architectures Experience with additional programming languages such as Go or .NET Culture & Benefits Hybrid work with office presence in Gdańsk 2-3 days per week Equipment provided Annual bonus Private medical care and multisport card Group insurance and wellbeing platform #J-18808-Ljbffr
