Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using various types of equipment.
• Ensure patient safety during procedures by following established protocols.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are ready.
• Assist radiologists in conducting advanced imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer any questions.
• Adhere to safety standards and guidelines to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure.

Qualifications

• Accredited training in Radiologic Technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• Ability to handle complex imaging equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with patients of all ages.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and move patients or equipment as needed.
