Job Description
Title: Labor & Delivery RN

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Epic charting experience required
- Active compact license
- Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (ACLS preferred)
- Skills: Labor & delivery care (low & high risk), triage, couplet care, assisting/circulating for C-sections and GYN surgeries, blood/blood product administration, IV infusion of medications including magnesium sulfate, heparin, and insulin, familiarity with epidural and PCA pumps, wound care, and central line maintenance

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients during labor and delivery processes
- Attend and assist in all deliveries, including high-risk
- Circulate for C-sections and GYN surgeries
- Monitor and support patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Administer medications and manage IV fluids as per protocols
- Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns

Compliance / Notes:
- Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays
- Floating to Post-Partum and NICU may be required based on skill set
- Background checks will be conducted; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits
- References: 2 required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Pre-start modules typically require around 16 hours of completion before starting
