Registered Nurse - Dementia Specialty

Location: Athens, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Dementia care. The ideal candidate must possess a calm demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage behavioral disturbances in geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to geriatric patients with dementia.
Assess patient needs and implement appropriate care plans.
Monitor and manage behavioral disturbances in patients.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document all patient interactions and changes in condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must have at least 1 year of experience working with dementia patients.
Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
BLS certification required.
Additional certifications may be required per compliance guidelines.
