Bench Scientist

Payrate: $33.62 - $33.62/hr.


Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the Molecular Profiling & Bioconjugation group in BioMedicine Design at Company. The candidate will work with a talented team of scientists to develop innovative protein biotherapeutics to bring curative treatments to patients. The candidate will be a key member of the conjugation chemistry team, responsible for the hands-on execution of bioconjugation experiments.


Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities will include the generation, purification, and characterization of bioconjugates.
• Hands-on experience with standard lab techniques and basic protein handling.
• Familiarity with bioconjugation reactions and associated analytical and purification methods such as chromatography and mass spectrometry
• Fast learner, detail oriented and highly organized; ability to effectively plan and complete experiments with limited supervision after fully trained
• Able to clearly communicate experiment results; experienced with using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data presenting and reporting
• Education: BA/BS in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology with 0-2 years of research experience

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $33.62 - $33.62 /hr . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
