Custodian Positions Available
Dixon Public Schools is accepting applications for the following full-time custodian positions: POSTING 2 evening shifts 3:00pm 11:30pm 1 daytime shift 6:00am 2:30pm Locations are to be determined
Custodian Duties Include:
- Assist with building care and equipment repairs.
- Maintain safe and attractive building and grounds.
- Clean classrooms, other educational areas, cafeteria, gymnasiums, offices, restrooms and other areas of the building used regularly.
- Assist in removal of snow and ice; assist in the mowing of grass, trimming of shrubbery, picking up litter, and general grounds maintenance.
Custodian Qualifications:
- Knowledge and skills to perform custodial and maintenance responsibilities.
- Ability to work well with staff and students.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Salary and Fringe Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $16.00 - $17.28 depending on experience.
- Fifteen (15) days per year sick leave.
- Two (2) days personal leave per year.
- Vacation available after 1 year of service.
- Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance offered.
- IMRF Retirement.
