Foot & Ankle Associates is seeking a Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped.) to help lead and grow our diabetic shoe program.This position will work closely with our podiatrists and clinical team to evaluate patients, fit and dispense diabetic footwear and inserts, and help manage the diabetic shoe process from referral through delivery.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and measure patients for diabetic and therapeutic footwearFit and dispense diabetic shoes and insertsEducate patients on proper fit, use, and care of footwearCoordinate shoe and insert orders with vendorsTrack patients through the ordering and dispensing processHelp obtain and review required documentation for diabetic shoe patientsWork with physicians, clinical staff, and billing staff to ensure an efficient workflowAssist with inventory, returns, exchanges, and product issuesHelp develop and grow the practice's diabetic shoe programMaintain accurate patient documentationQualificationsCurrent Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped.) credentialExperience fitting diabetic or therapeutic footwear preferredStrong patient communication and customer service skillsHighly organized and able to manage multiple patients and orders simultaneouslyComfortable working independently while collaborating with physicians and clinical staffExperience in podiatry, orthopedics, DME, or a medical practice is preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryPerformance-based bonus opportunityRelocation assistance available for qualified candidatesComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to take ownership of and grow an established diabetic footwear programAbout the OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Pedorthist who enjoys direct patient care but also wants the ability to take ownership of a growing program.
