Engineering Co-Op Fall 2026 Country: United States State: Ohio Job Family: Engineering and Science Job Type: Co-op-Apprentice Work Location: On-site Compensation: This Co-Op would work with the AddUp engineering team to learn and refine skill sets like material testing/development, design for additive manufacturing, and general problem solving and apply them to real projects that utilize Laser Powder Bed Fusion. They would regularly work on project-specific material characterization as well as a short capstone project in their downtime. Degree Program: Must be pursuing a 4-year degree in materials, mechanical, or metallurgical engineering (or equivalent) Has completed at least 1-3 years of that degree program Coursework: Required: Introduction to Materials (Structures/Properties of Materials), Engineering Math/Calculus 1, Introduction to Chemistry, and a laboratory class (all of these or equivalent) Desired: Material Testing Principles/Lab, Metallography, Physics, Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Basic Design Principles Skills (not all required, but a plus): Metallography and optical microscopy Material testing Tensile Hardness Roughness Microstructure Etc. Additive manufacturing experience Traditional manufacturing experience Welding experience Hand tools SolidWorks or equivalent Dimensional testing experience (calipers, micrometers, blue light scanning) Technical presentations/communication Other Preferences (not required, but a plus): #J-18808-Ljbffr Fives Landis Ltd
