Data Architect / Governance Specialist - TS/SCI + CI Polygraph Required

cFocus Software seeks a Data Architect/Governance Specialist to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Information Systems, Data Science, or related field with 8-12 years of data management experience
- Expert in data governance frameworks and best practices
- Experience implementing data governance programs and tools
- Deep knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and data lineage
- Proficient in data cataloging tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica)
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
- Relevant certifications (CDMP, DGSP) preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Develops and implements enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Defines data quality metrics, data lineage, and metadata management practices.
- Establishes data stewardship programs and coordinates with data owners across the organization.
- Implements data cataloging and data discovery solutions.
- Ensures compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Develops data classification schemes and access control policies.
- Facilitates data governance councils and working groups.
- Monitors data governance metrics and drives continuous improvement.
