Position OverviewExpress Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking an experienced CNC Set Up Machinist for a growing manufacturing company in Stanchfield, MN . This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision machining, enjoy hands-on technical work, and are looking for a long-term opportunity with advancement potential.
Pay & ScheduleHourly Pay: $25–$30/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills according to job specifications
Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for each job
Perform offsets, adjustments, and troubleshooting to maintain part accuracy
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
Monitor machine performance and make corrections to ensure quality and efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures
Document production data and communicate issues to supervisors as needed
3+ years of CNC machining and setup experience
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
Ability to perform machine offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
