Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Pay: DOE

Location: Catoosa, OK

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations for a well-established company in The Port of Catoosa. This position is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, managing inventory accuracy, coordinating shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, warehouse or manufacturing experience, and the ability to improve workflow while ensuring materials are available to support production and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, picking, staging, material handling, and inventory control
• Assign daily tasks, establish priorities, and adjust workflow based on production schedules and operational needs
• Train, coach, and support warehouse employees while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and accountability
• Oversee incoming shipments, verify quantities and documentation, and ensure materials are received accurately
• Coordinate picking, packing, staging, loading, unloading, and preparation of outgoing shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with other departments to identify and resolve issues
• Utilize ERP systems to document inventory transactions, material movements, receipts, and shipments
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, organized, and protected from damage
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to ensure materials are available when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, loading dock, and yard
• Ensure employees follow company safety policies and properly operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other equipment
• Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs as necessary
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, workflow, and operational efficiency
• Communicate inventory shortages, shipment delays, staffing concerns, and other operational issues to management
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed to maintain workflow and support the team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory, logistics, or manufacturing
• Previous supervisory or warehouse team leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• JDE experience preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other warehouse equipment; applicable certifications may be required or must be obtained as directed
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing operational needs
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train employees, delegate tasks, and maintain accountability
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and professional communication
• Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team
• Successful completion of applicable pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle check, and background check

Preferred Competencies

• Experience supervising warehouse personnel in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy improvement
• Experience using ERP systems to manage inventory, shipping, receiving, and material transactions
• Ability to improve warehouse layout, storage practices, and material flow
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
• Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements
• Commitment to workplace safety, team development, and continuous improvement

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and carry materials as required
• Ability to safely operate or work around forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, trucks, and other industrial equipment
• Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and required personal protective equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in yard or loading areas as needed
• Occasional local travel for deliveries and pickups may be required

Schedule:

• Day Shift 6am – 4:30pm

• Full-time, 40+ hours per week
• Overtime and weekends as needed
