Internal Control Analyst

Job Details Title: AP Lead Location: Nashville, TN Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $24-28/hour Type: Contract to Hire Hours: Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours Requirements 4+ years of recent full‑time AP experience Competent user of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Responsibilities Resolve A/P issues, review account coding, and approve invoices for processing Maintain strong vendor relationships, resolve payment disputes, and ensure payment terms align with university policies Ensure invoices are paid timely Review and approve vendor creation/maintenance in the payables system according to policy and IRS regulations Implement controls to prevent duplicate vendors Ensure payment documentation is legible, complete, accurate, and valid Maintain and file payment documentation electronically in accordance with the Records Retention Policy Assess AP processes to identify opportunities for enhancement and recommend improvements to operational efficiency Review and analyze monthly AP aging reports for validity and timely payment Assist customers, partners, and colleagues with vendor payment inquiries and concerns with a customer service spirit of excellence Interview prospective employees and select the best applicant based on required skills, knowledge, and abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Beacon Hill
