Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with occasional weekend work required for audits and month-end activities) Location: Elma, NY (onsite) Job Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk to support our Warehousing and Receiving operations. This position is responsible for coordinating receiving activities, scheduling delivery appointments, maintaining receiving records, entering receipts into inventory systems, and supporting accurate inventory control.The ideal candidate will have previous receiving experience, familiarity with MRP and inventory control systems, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate receiving activities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate receiving activities, including delivery appointments and delivery locationsEnter and maintain accurate receipts in ProteanMaintain an organized receiving recordkeeping systemAssist with inventory level management through effective communication and coordinationVerify Bill of Materials (BOM) information against physical receiptsSupport and refine the raw material tagging process through collaboration with Information TechnologySupport off-site receiving activities as neededMaintain accurate receiving and inventory information within applicable systemsTake on new projects and support organizational initiatives as neededPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience in receiving, warehouse receiving, or a related environmentExperience working with an MRP system and/or inventory control systemBasic computer skillsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to maintain accurate records and informationWillingness to take on new projects and support organizational initiativesPreferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:Warehouse receivingInventory controlMaterial Requirements Planning (MRP)Receiving documentation and recordkeepingPurchase or material receiptsBill of Materials (BOM)Raw material receivingManufacturing or production environmentsRange of Pay: $21.61 - $22.61 Steuben Foods is committed to equal employment opportunity.
