Department: Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: ED Schedule Details/Additional Information Experience: Strongly Prefer 2 years ED RN Experience Certifications needed: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Schedule: Self-Scheduled; day-to-day floating or 6-week float assignments 0.9 FTE; Full-Time; Shift: Nights 1900-0730 (12-hour Shifts) Support Sites: Zone 1: Bay Area, Bay Care, Fond du lac, Manitowoc, Oshkosh, Sheboygan Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Zone 1 WI Resource Team Emergency Department RN Where You Will Work: Aurora Health (now part of Advocate Health) WI Float Pool is a multi‑site resource team supporting Emergency Department (ED) care across the Wisconsin division. Float RNs provide adaptable, high‑quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need. Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Additional Certification needed: ACLS, PALS, TNCC Experience: Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required; 2 years strongly preferred Weekend Requirement (Friday 1900 – Monday 0700): 4 Weekend Shifts per 6-week schedule Holiday Requirement: 2 Holidays per year What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities include: Providing safe, therapeutic, evidence‑based nursing care in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures Demonstrating adaptability by floating to multiple care environments within a designated Zone, integrating quickly into new departments, and collaborating with diverse teams Leading efforts that support the safest patient environment and best possible patient experience Coordinating care for diverse patient populations within various acute‑care, hospital outpatient departments and clinic settings Maintaining the competency required to practice in all acute‑care facilities within the designated zone Perks of Working with the WI Float Pool: Travel‑nursing‑style variety — without the travel: Work across multiple (5-7) Aurora Health facilities through day‑to‑day floating or 6‑week site rotations Fresh, dynamic work environment: Exposure to various departments and patient populations helps prevent routine fatigue and keeps work exciting Career‑building experience: Demonstrates adaptability, competence, and the ability to manage diverse clinical situations Competitive compensation: Includes base pay, float differentials, shift and weekend premiums Benefits & flexibility: Enjoy flexible self‑scheduling, no on‑call requirements, and only two holidays per year About This Location: Serves multiple Aurora Health acute‑care facilities within the Wisconsin division.
