Master Scheduler

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Master Scheduler to support manufacturing operations at our clients South El Monte and Corona, CA facilities. This role will focus specifically on these two locations and will not support the broader multi-site network. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing and machining-based scheduling, with hands on experience coordinating machine work centers in a complex production environment. As a key partner to manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams, the Master Scheduler will align demand, capacity, and operational flow to ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary scheduling resource for the South El Monte and Corona manufacturing facilities. • Develop, maintain, and manage the master production schedule, integrating customer demand with available capacity and resources.
• Schedule and balance machine work centers, including multi-axis machining environments (3-axis and 5-axis).
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, logistics, and supply chain teams to establish SIOP demand and capacity plans.
• Perform capacity planning and manage operational flow, including operation-to-operation sequencing. • Analyze current and forecasted orders against raw material availability and production capacity; proactively address constraints.
• Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Incorporate sales orders into the ERP system and ensure alignment of materials, labor, equipment, and delivery commitments.
• Participate in forecasting, planning, and execution meetings across production, purchasing, shipping, and customer service teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within scheduling, planning, and production processes. • Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in master scheduling, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong background in manufacturing or machining environments, with direct experience scheduling machine work centers.
• Working knowledge of multi-axis machining (3-axis / 5-axis), capacity planning, and operational production flow. Advanced proficiency with production planning and ERP systems


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Epicor ERP experience strongly preferred.
Exposure to upfront planning or proposal support is a plus. Ability to support both short-term scheduling needs and longer-range capacity planning preferred.
