Role Overview Boyd Community Management LLC, a member of The Boyd Companies, Inc., is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our growing maintenance team. As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be a part of the team that maintains the community and profitability. The physical upkeep of the community is your priority. You must maintain and operate all mechanical equipment excluding those specifically designated for contract repair and service. This position is under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. Qualifications Apartment maintenance technician (applied title) Experience: Apartment maintenance or hotel industry experience preferred, or general construction & home repair knowledge. CFC Type2 certification and willing to acquire CPO certifications. Knowledgeable in appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC (R22 and R410a). Willing to learn Onesite and other computer software systems. Customer service skills, good communication skills, ability to prioritize work, perform accurate repairs, complete written requests. Willingness and ability to answer call and perform necessary maintenance and repairs in emergencies. Inspects building, grounds, common areas, suggest repairs, perform preventive maintenance, “repair or replace” duties. Can lift 50+ lbs. and work both indoors and outdoors. Team‑oriented, community‑focused. Education High school diploma or GED.
