Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Zeeland that are seeking Weld Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on diverse materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications using appropriate tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment, fixtures, and machinery as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Welding Technology or a related field.
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 3+ years of experience in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK) within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties.
• Experience with welding inspection techniques and quality control procedures.
