Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Officer in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.95 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or credential checks in support of location policies for a professional technology-focused workplace. Support day-to-day operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and routine site activity. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
