This contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist allows you to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, support academic achievement, and help students reach their communication potential.

Candidates will thrive if they possess a strong passion for speech and language development along with the following qualifications:

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
  • Prior experience working in educational settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to various school environments and diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and parents
  • Track student progress and document results in accordance with IDEA and district standards
  • Offer consultation and training to staff, families, and other stakeholders regarding speech and language development strategies
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and staff training sessions
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to school-based speech therapy
